Examination Board
The Examination Board oversees all assessment standards and academic decisions at Calwest University.

Responsibilities
The Examination Board is responsible for the following:
- Setting and maintaining the rules for tests and examinations across all programs.
- Appointing examiners for coursework assessments.
- Appointing thesis examiners (both Internal and External) for DBA research degrees.
- Setting and reviewing the admission policy for the University.
- Recognising credits for Recognised Prior Learning (RPL).
- Setting and administering challenge assessments.
- Setting assessment deadlines and approving extensions.
- Determining and publishing overall results.
- Hearing and deciding on student appeals relating to academic matters.
- Considering and granting fee waivers for students experiencing exceptional financial hardship.
