Anti-Hazing Policy
Calwest University has zero tolerance for hazing in any form.
Definition of Hazing
Hazing includes any activity that involves physical risks, causes mental distress, or constitutes cyber-bullying. Calwest University will not provide student contact information to any party for purposes that could facilitate hazing.
Examples of Hazing Conduct
If you are hazed via any of the following means, you should report it immediately to the President of Calwest University:
- Threats
- Hate speech
- Harassment
- Peer pressure
- Bribery
- Psychological abuse
- Extortion
Consequences
Students proved to have engaged in hazing of any other student or individual will be expelled from the University. There are no exceptions to this policy.
Reporting
Any student who has been subjected to hazing, or who is aware of hazing occurring, should report it in writing to the President of Calwest University. All reports will be treated seriously and investigated promptly.
